Director of International Business – Colin MacDonnell
Colin MacDonnell is a Registered Nurse with over twenty years of experience working in some of the most prestigious institutions in North America.
For most of his professional career, Colin has worked exclusively in the United States health care system. Colin worked for eight years at University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill) and at Duke University Hospital. While practicing in North Carolina, Colin was employed in a variety of clinical and research roles including medical and surgical nursing, cardiothoracic anesthesia research, utilization review and neurology.
Colin is keenly interested in the role of law with respect to issues related to patient advocacy and civil litigation and in 2001, he completed a two year diploma in Legal Nurse Consulting.
Colin has also worked in Vancouver, Ontario, New Mexico, Wisconsin, and Maine where he has participated in various committees and practiced within various models of care.
Colin is dedicated nursing professional who is passionate about helping others understand the diverse cultures and ideologies that inform the American health care system.
