The expansion of our wound care initiatives into the Windsor branch is well on its way. I really appreciate the support provided by Health Outcomes Worldwide for our wound prevalence studies across (what is now) all three sites of the Erie St. Clair Community Care Access Centre. The outcome measurement process has provided valuable information that has been used to understand our progress. I also use the outcome measures to make decisions on education initiatives, expectations for service utilization and products. The detailed report that HOW provides enables us to drill down and target specific wound types for best practice initiatives throughout our community. I find it especially helpful that HOW encourages me to ask new questions and find the answers within our very own data. They are an inspiration to work with!
