The Outcome Measurement Forms generated by HOW have demonstrated the success of our wound care program. To be accountable, we must be able to determine the effectiveness of client related care. Our outcome measurement reports provided by HOW do exactly that.
Our annual outcome measurement reports have allowed us to demonstrate that the use of a standardized, evidence-based wound care program is cost-effective and meets clients' needs better than our traditional method of wound care provision.
The demonstrated success of this program in Wellington and Dufferin Counties has enabled the program to now expand to the much larger region of Waterloo.
